Orange County Outdoor Science Education Series
As person who loves to spend time outdoors, I know the importance of learning to love nature starting at an early age. In elementary school, I always loved the field trips that took us to outdoor spaces! Needless to say I was very excited to create media about Inside the Outdoors.
The goal of each of the 10 videos was to give students and teachers an understanding of what to expect on each of the outdoor science education programs for students.
Each video takes place at a different field trip location throughout Orange County.
This series highlights an important environmental educational program that shows elementary school students wild spaces in their own backyard.

Sadly, in December 2020 the headquarters of Inside the Outdoors located at Rancho Sonado was badly damaged in a wildfire. Buildings were burned and animal life was lost. This tragedy hasn’t prevented ITO from continuing their education and to help them rebuild, please visit their GoFundMe page.
